Definisi Literasi Maklumat

1. Menurut Modul Kemahiran  Pengurusan Sumber untuk guru oleh BTP(2002), literasi maklumat adalah keupayaan untuk mengakses dan menilai maklumat bagi membuat pemilihan dan menyelesaikan permasalahn secara efektif.
2. Final Report of the American Library Association Presidential Committee on Informatin Literacy(1989), the information literate person is, "able to recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use it effectively."
